For over a decade, we sold and installed vinyl windows and fiberglass, aluminum, and wood entry doors in homes across Canada. Standard residential products with quality craftsmanship. But over the years, we started hearing the same question more often: is there something stronger?
Homeowners weren't just asking about better locks or thicker frames. They wanted doors that could withstand targeted attacks. Real security, tested and certified, that could handle power tools and sustained force. The standard residential market had nothing to offer them.
We went looking for answers and found them in Europe. Manufacturers in the United Kingdom, Italy, and Lithuania had been building residential armoured doors for decades. These weren't commercial products repurposed for homes. They were engineered systems designed to look beautiful while meeting the highest security certifications.
That's when Iron Villa started. We partnered with these manufacturers and brought their security engineering to Canadian homes.
